About Avi

Originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, Dr. Avi Bagley DPT, CSCS graduated from Yeshiva University in 2012 with a Bachelor in History. In addition to pursuing his Bachelors, he also competed on the collegiate tennis team.

After taking a year off working as an aid in multiple physical therapy settings, he continued on to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Duke University, graduating in 2017.

During his time at Duke, Avi pursued and achieved his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. He also has extensive experience working as a personal trainer at Duke University, training clients at all levels to achieve their goals. In addition, he participated and played on the club tennis team.

Education
Dr. Avi Bagley, PT, DPT, graduated from Duke University as a Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Avi has experiences and interest in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy and sport rehabilitation.

Throughout his time at Duke and since graduating, Avi has treated and worked with a variety of diagnoses and populations from the older adult to the elite athlete. Avi has a strong passion to motivate every patient to achieve his or her highest level.

Outside of his career, Avi is a competitive tennis player. He also enjoys weightlifting, and Latin dance. He has competed in multiple powerlifting competitions and continues to play tennis regularly and is continues pursue new activities that South Florida has to offer. He believes strongly in ethical, patient centered and goal focused care, with emphasis on getting the patient better quickly and efficiently with a one on one non negotiable approach.
